Upper School MUN Starts Season

We had our first Model United Nations conference on November 13th. It was a great success and a wonderful way to begin this year's MUN schedule. In this year's SEMMUNA conference (SouthEast Michigan Model UN Association) our delegates represented Tunisia, Germany, China, Brazil, and North Korea. Topics included combatting misinformation, pandemic preparedness, and ocean waste. Our participants were well-researched and diligently represented their designated countries. This year's participants included: Kessonga Allen, Adam Cornier-Bridgeforth, Zeke English, Jameson Gerrits, Andrew Klein, Isha Oberoi, Matteo Papadopoulos and Signe Smith. 

The conference was a Bloomfield Hills High School and was a combination of in-person and fully virtual meetings.

 

Special recognition goes out to Senior Rose Li, who was the director and creator of the United Nations Environmental Program committee/topic on ocean waste.
