Mariann Hoag Scholarship Dinner

    • MHSD-4

For more than 60 years, Mariann Hoag shaped Roeper with her trailblazing leadership, deep compassion, and unwavering belief in every child’s potential. As chair of the Financial Aid Committee, she knew every student by name and knew exactly when to lift them, challenge them, and help them discover their greatness. Her impact changed the trajectories of generations.

When she passed in 2009, we honored her extraordinary devotion by renaming our financial aid program: The Mariann Hoag Financial Aid Grant Award Program

Today, we’re proud to celebrate her enduring legacy with a special fundraising event that strengthens the need-based financial aid program she championed. Join us as we continue Mariann’s life-changing work to ensure that every Roeper student has the opportunity to thrive.
The Mariann Hoag Scholarship Dinner 2026— a Modern Cinema–themed evening you won’t want to miss.

April 25, 5pm at the Emagine Theater in Royal Oak

Set against our Modern Cinema theme, expect a night filled with drama, creativity, and moments that linger long after the final scene. Every chapter of the evening supports the Mariann Hoag Financial Aid Program, helping ensure a Roeper education remains accessible to students who need it most.
We empower gifted learners to be active and compassionate citizens of the world.
