Diana Elshoff, Retired Faculty Member
Even though I am retired from teaching at Roeper, I still hold dear George and Annemarie Roeper’s unique vision for educating young people. I remember fondly what being part of the Roeper community means. Giving to the Annual Fund is a way that I can honor George and Annemarie’s memory, while helping the school flourish for the new generation of young people.
Margaret Linkous, Lower School Parent
The first time I visited Roeper, I was honestly hoping to rule it out for our family—we had been at our previous school for years, and we didn’t need to add a long commute to our hectic lives. After about 10 minutes on campus, I knew I needed to figure out how to make it work. Two years later, our three kids are thriving in their second semesters. When we give to the Annual Fund, we support ingenious classroom projects and encourage the dynamic innovation and thoughtfulness behind each teacher and staff member’s work.
Mike Tilchin, Alum '72
Roeper was a great place for me to learn, grow, and form friendships; its commitment to building community was (and is) its greatest strength. More than 50 years later, I still feel strongly connected to the school. When I make a contribution to the Annual Fund, I feel like I’m helping to sustain Roeper’s communitarian spirit.
