Chess Camp
This camp is for both the beginner (those that have never played a rated tournament game) and experienced tournament chess players currently in grades 2 through 11. Players will be divided by experience. In addition to daily lessons, we will be playing unique chess games such as: a scavenger hunt where you solve a chess puzzle to move to the next location; bughouse games; two man team chess; and chess jeopardy played as teams.
Session 1: July 8-12, 9am - 3pm
Session 2: July 15 - 19, 9am - 3pm
Session 3: July 22- 26, 9am - 3pm
Session 4: July 29- August 2, 9am - 3pm
Cost: $325 per session
Chess Camp is led by BRYAN WILSON, the three time state title winning head coach of The Roeper School chess team and award winning National Chess Championship coach at Cass Technical High School. Bryan privately trains top chess students throughout the community. Currently he trains five of the top 100 chess players in the nation.
