Annual MLK Celebration Event

Carolyn Borman
4:00pm:  FILM: We invite families (recommended for stage III and older) to come together to view a short film and follow-up conversation led by our upper school students. We will view a short a segment of the Jane Elliott “Blue-Eyed, Brown Eyed” experiment with her third grade students. This is a powerful film about a teacher who wanted her students to experience discrimination and injustice after the death of Dr. King. She did this brilliantly in her classroom with her third grade students by creating an atmosphere of inequity based on eye-color.
