Clubs on the Birmingham Campus - Fun, Fun, Fun

Every week in the M/US newsletter we are exploring clubs and activities at the Birmingham campus. To date, we've introduced you to the Improv Club, the Palentontology and Geology Club, The Sierra Club, and the AVLCP club (A Very Long Climate Project). This week we'd like to tell you about the Fun, Fun, Fun Club.

Fun Fun Fun is a club, comprised of middle and upper schoolers, that is dedicated to the general betterment of student life at Roeper through fun. Although written into the committee bylaws of student government, FFF functions independently, and generally serves their purpose through fun events scheduled throughout the year as well as breaks from stressful periods such as exams.

In the past, we have provided food during exam week breaks and ran the yearly volleyball tournament at Kensington, but during Covid times we have shifted our focus to creating breaks in the monotony of virtual school. FFF has held multiple mafia night events, where participants square off in a whodunit party game as members of the town or mafia. The next one is in the plans for later in the year. In the near future, we have plans in the works for a Jeopardy event, as well as a March Madness bracket pool open to all middle and upper schoolers.

In general, though, we like to keep the planning to a minimum, and let the fun take us where it will! Stay updated on our plans by keeping an eye on the weekly announcements.
