Max Labe '15 - Another Notable Alum

In November 2025, alum Max Labe '15 launched Via Paving, an Oak Park-based commercial paving company. He evidently knew what he was doing because within a few months the company received more than 75 quote requests. After receiving his degrees in construction management and finance at Michigan State University, Max learned the business working with national industry leader Barton Malow on many large projects.

According to a recent article in The Jewish News Max said:

“My parents will say, ever since I was a kid, all I wanted to do was own a construction company. Now I get to live my dream, which is fun...While the early excitement has been incredible, we know success ultimately comes down to execution and delivery. We’re ready, prepared and committed to exceeding our customers’ expectations.”
