Even though she’s only in 6th Grade, Sandra carries herself with a maturity and grace that exudes confidence. She’s one of those kids who’s determined to make a difference in the world. Last summer, recognizing a need for fresh fruit in Detroit, she worked with her Girl Scout troop to plant an apple and peach orchard at a community garden downtown. For her efforts, she received the Girl Scout Jr. Bronze Award. Sandra is enthralled by the legal system and spent a summer shadowing Wayne County Third Circuit Court Judge Qiana Denise Lillard (Roeper Alum ’94) and now she dreams of wearing the robe one day. She’s a #RoeperKid.
