Roeper Musical Theater Workshop with Amy Cova and Alex Pedica • June 12–16

Birmingham Campus Dance Room/Acheson Theater
June 12–16, 1:00–3:00 pm (entering grades 5-7) $225 or $210 if enrolled by 6/5.
June 12–16, 10:00 am–12:00 pm (entering grades 8-11) $225 or $210 if enrolled by 6/5.
The workshop focuses on dancing and acting for musical theater. Classes will evolve to meet the needs and follow interests of the participants. There will be an informal performance on Friday, June 16, open to family and friends.

High Performance Basketball Camp • June 12–16

We are happy to announce we are bringing back our annual Roeper high performance basketball camp after a 3-year break. This camp will allow participants to work on their fundamental skills and teamwork through fun activities, drills, and games. All skill levels are welcome. Many of the Roeper coaches will be there to help your child’s skills improve.
 
The camp takes place from June 12–16. Students entering grades 4 and 5 (next year's stage IV students) will participate from 9:00 am–12:00 pm. Students entering grades 6–12 grade will participate from 9:00 am–2:00pm. Both groups will meet in the Roeper CCB gym. Students attending from 9:00 am–2:00 pm should bring a lunch daily.

Stage IV students, 9:00 am–12:00 pm, $175
Middle and Upper School students, 9:00 am–2:00 pm, $250

Director of High-Performance Camp: Ryan Zinser 
Ryan is a Roeper alum who graduated in 2010. Ryan played basketball at Roeper from Stage IV through the varsity level. He was a captain and an all-conference player for Roeper’s varsity team. As a student, Ryan participated in many High-Performance Camps. He coached the Roeper middle school team from 2015–21 and has been the Boys Varsity Coach since 2021.
 
Laura Sobieralski
Laura will be heading up the Stage IV section of camp.
 
Laura Sobieralski (Evans) has been a part of the Roeper Athletic department since 2015. She began as the Stage IV Girls Coach. In 2016–20 Laura coached the A and B Middle School teams. This year Laura added coaching the Stage IV Boys team as developing a love for the game is Laura’s favorite part of coaching. Additionally, Laura coached Roeper Saturday Basketball Enrichment, after school clinics, and at the High-Performance camp. Outside of Roeper Laura has coached 6 years of basketball at elementary- middle school levels. As a player Laura has over 12 years of playing experience and has played every position on the court (due to an early growth spurt😊).
