Anita Fox '77 Appointed to Chair Health Insurance and Managed Care Committee with NAIC

Anita Fox '77 was recently named chair of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ Health Insurance and Managed Care Committee, which ensures Michigan has a strong voice in determining health insurance policy on the national level. She was also elected Vice Chair of the Midwest Zone, which represents 13 states and is part of the NAIC Executive Committee, and she serves on other committees with the NAIC.

The Health Insurance and Managed Care Committee serves as the NAIC’s health insurance liaison to the U.S. Congress, the White House, and federal agencies. The committee considers issues relating to all aspects of health insurance, including examining factors that contribute to rising healthcare costs and insurance premiums.
