Amber and Karen came up with the idea of taking their class to the other campus to see the Maker Space. The trip was facilitated by Brian Durst and welcomed by Maker Space teacher, Wendy Mayer. According to Brian, "I can’t say how much it warmed my heart to see the wonder in the kids’ faces as they saw all the cool stuff in there. The drone especially was a big hit. Wendy, did such a great job of making everything fun and accessible to the kids." While they were there, they saw the 3D printer in action, a drone flying through the room, a robotics presentation and a hand made clock. They were also joined by Wendy's Maker Space class who sat with the younger students while they worked on an activity.
