Learning About Skin in the Biology Lab!

Carolyn Borman
While going through the Birmingham Campus, our school photographer found something interesting going on in the Biology lab so he took some shots. When we asked teacher, Logan Parkison, about the lesson he said,

"We were learning about the integumentary system (skin), the different layers, and wound healing. We practiced suturing techniques on pig's feet because the density and thickness are similar to human skin."

We will leave it to your own discretion as to whether or not you want to see the lab in action!
