Lower School Chess Team Competes!

On February 4th, Roeper's Lower School sent three teams to the Michigan Primary/Elementary Team Championships at West Bloomfield Middle School. Along with some great individual performances, one of our teams, Markus Breaugh, Nicolas Davila-Hernandez, Gabriel O'Laughlin, and Richard Qu placed second in their division, the K-3 section. Although serious about their chess play, the team had loads of fun. Congratulations to the team, Chess Coordinator Blake Pynnonen and Coach Bryan Wilson!
