According to Lower School science teacher Jenn Carleson, who is on lead with Green School initiatives, we were awarded "green" status for 2020-2021 based on a point system. The lower school has been certified in the past, led by Stage IV teacher, Scott Vartanian. This year has been very low profile because of COVID - just maintainance of programs that have run in the past, including implementing Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, maintaining native gardens and wildlife homes on campus, and teaching classes with environmental themes.
