She has used her role as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics to advocate for children's health, education and safety at a national level, including helping to develop the American Academy of Pediatrics' national campaign to educate pediatricians and voters on child health issues during the 2020 election.
"Roeper taught me the importance of listening to the community and assuring that all voices are heard, no matter how loud. I have embraced those lessons and applied them to my child advocacy work, assuring that children's voices are heard. I am forever grateful to my teachers, classmates and the entire Roeper community for all that they have taught me over the years and their continued support as we work together to make the world a better place for all its citizens."
