Lydia '25

It might be rare to find young entrepreneurs at most schools but not at Roeper. Count 8th grader Lydia among those who have already started a company in middle school. Her fledgling sticker company Simply Stickers is up on Etsy and open for business. When she’s not managing sales, you can find Lydia playing basketball, volleyball, and soccer or hunkering down and studying Math and Science. Now in her 10th year at the school, she feels like she’s being set up for success. “I like how much freedom we have to make decisions on our own. It’s more diverse and we have more choice,” she says. While the sticker company has been a creative pursuit, Lydia wants to eventually become a surgeon. She’s a #RoeperKid.
