Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Candlelight Walk

On January 20, 2020, Roeper will honor and celebrate the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., at our popular annual event at the CCB on the Bloomfield Campus. The beliefs Dr. King embodied- equality, social justice, respect, responsibility, self-control and peaceful conflict resolution- resonate in our philosophy. We will gather to hear inspirational words, share a meal, enjoy entertainment and listen to personal reflections on how MLK has impacted lives.

5:00 PM Soup, Bread and Beverages 
6:00 PMCeremony and Entertainment  
7:00 PM Candlelight Walk – The traditional Candlelight Walk will proceed from the Community Center to the Domes where we will gather in the Big Dome to share thoughts about MLK, his impact on their life, on the world today, and the work that still needs to be done.  
 
Overflow parking and shuttle service is available from 4:30-8:30 pm at the Stoneridge Office Buildings, two drives South of the Bloomfield Hills Campus, 41190 Woodward Avenue.
