Brogi thinks George and Annemarie Roeper made a pretty good decision creating a school for the gifted because “the philosophy is one of a kind,” he says. Like a lot of Roeper kids, 10-year-old Brogi loves the freedom the school grants him because he gets to choose his own classes and advance at his own pace. “Everybody’s at their own level and the teachers here teach to that level,” he says. A self-proclaimed fast reader, Brogi is currently making his way through Wings of Fire, a series of fantasy novels told from a dragon’s point of view. He also stays busy with tennis, flag football, singing in the choir, and playing trombone. He’s a #RoeperKid.
