An independent Preschool through Grade 12 school for gifted students.
David Gardner left Roeper in the 8th grade for a high school with much larger class sizes because he craved a bigger social circle. But at his new school, David was disappointed to find out that making the grade seemed to be more important than the journey and the destination. “I wanted an environment that focused more on learning than on just good grades and numbers,” says David. So, he returned to Roeper in the 10th grade. “I wanted to be challenged to do my best and think beyond the classroom.” David excelled in science classes and beyond the walls of Roeper in track and as captain of the Varsity Basketball Team; he made first team All-Conference. David will attend University of Miami in the fall where he plans to follow a pre-med track. His knack for music means he’ll be spending his free time during the summer collaborating at his uncle’s music studio. He’s a #RoeperKid.
