He may only be 11-years-old, but Mannie already knows he needs to become an inventor. That way he can build things like a true jet pack at an affordable price so everyone can fly. “There are so many things that haven’t been made yet,” says Mannie. “I think I’ll start my own company.”
When he’s not dreaming up the next best invention, he’s playing basketball, clicking the keys in a Roeper computer class or helping out the homeless. Mannie started his own group with the help of his family that he calls, Help Our People or HOP. “I feel bad for people who don’t have a place to live,” says Mannie. The group frequently delivers socks, gloves and hats to the homeless. He's a #RoeperKid.
