Reptar Soccer 2025

The Reptar soccer program is an indoor program where teams made up of mostly Roeper students play in teams in age groups from under 6 (Stage II second years) through U10 (Stage V).  This program is run by Paula Romano.  We enter teams in each age group in which we have enough players.  The primary purpose of the program is to develop some soccer skills while having fun playing with fellow classmates.  Age groups are as follows:

Under 6 - Under 7 as of 5/1/2026

Under 7 - Under 8 as of 5/1/2026

Under 8 - Under 9 as of 5/1/2026

Under 9 - Under 10 as of 5/1/2026

Under 10 - Under 11 as of 5/1/2026

Parents volunteer to coach the teams at the games.  This consists of subbing them on and off the field and encouraging them to play soccer as a team.  Paula conducts practices.  Each team will have a weekly practice during recess.  Each team consists of around 8-11 players. 

The jersey will be the same or similar to last year's.  The jersey is provided for all new players. Returning players can purchase a jersey for a fee of $20. Players should wear black shorts and black socks. You can also order shorts in black and black soccer socks through this registration at an additional cost.  These items are optional.  Players can choose to provide their own shorts and socks.  The shorts cost $15.  Black socks cost $10.00.  You will receive an email with a link to sign up for uniforms.

The Reptar indoor soccer season will begin the week of October 27.   The program will run for the first two sessions at Total Soccer – session #1 runs from October through December 23, Session #2 runs from January 2 through March 9.  Schedules will work around Roeper Stage IV basketball schedules. 

The schedule is put together by Total Soccer Royal Oak.  There is generally one game per week.  I do not have control over the days or times that the teams play.  Saturday and Sunday games can be anytime between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.  Weekday evening games occur between 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.  Practices will occur once a week in the CCB Gym at recess.  Details about practices will follow.   The fees cover the cost of the registration for each team in the league.  The game days and fees for each age group is as follows:

U6 - Saturday & Sunday - $220

U7 - Saturday & Sunday - $220

U8 Boys - Saturday, Sunday & Monday - $230

U8 Girls - Tuesday & Thursday - $230

U9 Boys - Wednesday & Sunday - $230

U9 Girls - Friday & Saturday - $230

U10 Boys - Monday & Saturday - $245

U10 Girls - Friday & Saturday - $245

Teams will be assembled by interest.  If there is not enough interest in one age group, then the players will be grouped with players in the next oldest age group.  If there is not enough interest to form a girls only team, the girls are welcome to join the boys team in that age group.  If there is not enough interest in the oldest group, the team may not form.  If there is enough interest for two teams, two teams can be formed if there is a parent willing to coach.
