If 11-year-old JJ’s athletic career doesn’t work out, he wants to work in management after visiting Google in Birmingham. “We walked there and the people seem really cool. They have their own game room and personal chefs,” he says. Currently JJ has his sights set on becoming a professional basketball or soccer player. The 7th grader’s favorite subjects are Math and 3D Printing. He enjoys problem solving and is creating a 3D guitar in case he wants to take guitar lessons. JJ played the piano and has started drum lessons. “Everyone seemed really warm here when I came to visit,” says JJ. “I felt like it was a good place for me and I’m glad I made the choice. I have a lot of friends and a lot of freedom.” His commute is 40 minutes every day. “It’s worth it,” he adds. “Roeper is a very good school.” JJ also plays football, attends Roeper’s summer camps, and enjoys archery. He’s a #RoeperKid.
