Please Share Your Voice - DEIJ Input Wanted

Carolyn Borman
A year ago, we shared with the community the results of the diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) audit that the school undertook over the preceding two years. In the year since the release of the results, Roeper has implemented a number of important DEIJ initiatives to advance the important work of making our community more diverse, equitable, inclusive, and just.

As a follow-up to the audit, we want to identify priorities and define future measures. To do that we have partnered with Jacinta Williams and Kori McMillion from CultureEd Collective. Last week, Kori  met with groups of faculty, staff, students and families to collect their input to help us in the next phase of our work for next year.

If you were not able to attend one of the in-person sessions, it's important that you share your voice by completing an online version of the in-person activity.

Click check the 5/23/23 Roeper Record for the link to the activity.

CultureEd will curate the responses and present a draft of the aspiration statement at the next meeting of our Multicultural Leadership Team on June 8. We would like to include your input so please be sure to complete the activity and submit your response by 7:00 pm next Tuesday, May 30.

This post is in part taken from Christopher's message in the Roeper Record.
