Elisabeth and Nicole's Stage II classroom created their own MLK Candlelight Walk!
Our class heard about the candle light walks in the past and were inspired to hold our own on Friday afternoon. We created signs with values Martin Luther King Jr. believed in such as love, kindness, non-violence, and equal rights for all. We held little flame-less candles and walked from the Steward Building to the Domes and stopped to admire the MLK Jr sculpture in the front. We walked silently to reflect on MLK Jr.’s values and think about how we can take his message forward.
