This coming Monday, there will be a wonderful day of virtual programing to learn more about the important values of DEIJ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice) that reflect the teachings of Dr. King. There will be something for everyone!
A Day of Engagement
Join us on Monday, January 17 for a wonderful celebration of the life and work of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Our celebration begins with an afternoon of workshops followed by a virtual candlelight celebration.

ATTEND A WORKSHOP
12:00 pm "Let The Children March": Book read (ages 6-10) and discussion with members of our Student Diversity Advisory Committee
2:00 pm "White Allies Causing Good Trouble--Then & Now" hosted by Sarah Miller and Emily Wine
3:00 pm “Turning the Corner” an independent film by David Van Hooser. Film & Discussion (ages 10 and up). Recommended that families view together. Filmmaker David Van Hooser will be present at this workshop.
4:00 pm "The Power of Choice: Make a Difference, Make an Impact". Explore the empowerment of the individual and the advancement of diversity and inclusion with keynote speaker, Audra Bohannon.
