Michelle Adams '81 Appointed to Presdential Commission

Michelle Adams, Roeper class of 1981, has been appointed to President Biden’s Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court. Ms Adams is a Professor of Law at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she teaches Constitutional Law, Federal Courts, and Federal Civil Rights. She is published in several top level law reviews and is the author of The Containment: Detroit, The Supreme Court, and the Battle for Racial Justice in the North. She recently appeared in “Amend: The Fight for America,” a 2021 Netflix documentary about the 14th Amendment. Ms Adams holds a B.A. from Brown University, a J.D. from City University of New York Law School, and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School. At Harvard she was the first Charles Hamilton Houston Scholar.
