Join us on Fridays as guest presenters help us dive deeper into various topics from our All School Read - Stamped: Racism, Anti-Racism & You. Reading the book is not necessary to attend, please join these engaging presentations! They will be a half-hour well spent!
Week Three (Friday, July 17th): Jamon Jordan will be joining us this Friday. He will be sharing with us more about the legacy of racism in Detroit, including the history of redlining.
Presenter Bio: Jamon is a beloved Detroit community member and owner of Black Scroll Tours, which he uses to educate participants about the rich history of Detroit. As a former social studies teacher who saw the lack of African American history being taught in the schools, he knows intimately the need to highlight this history.
