Clay Class for Adults with Tessa Stein

Carolyn Borman
Upper School teacher Tessa Stein will be offering an adult clay class in the evenings on Mondays.

Creating with Clay

This enrichment class is for adults who would like to create clay projects in a supportive and relaxing environment. If you are a beginner, you will be amazed at how quickly you start producing beautiful works of art. The class size is small and therefore each student will have plenty of individual attention. If you have had previous experience, this is your opportunity to refresh your skills and learn new techniques.

The group will decide on an extra day for glazing and firing.

Instructor: Tessa Stein graduated with a B.A. degree in Ceramics from the Johannesburg College of Art in South Africa.  For 30 years, she has been working as a ceramic artist and educator.  She has traveled extensively, working as a production potter in various countries.  She has an extensive teaching background, and the majority of her teaching experience has been as a resident artist in over 50 schools.  She has worked at The Roeper School since 2009.
