Ninth Grader Diego’s dream job is to be a film director. His passion for storytelling and acting has led him to performances in school productions of Into the Woods and Cinderella’s Father. Diego says Roeper has provided him with a real sense of freedom to achieve his dreams. “I have a lot more access to my teachers. I feel free that I can do anything and be myself and not feel any sense of discrimination.” When he’s not acting, you can find Diego reading comics, playing video games, and participating in the Quiz Bowl team that he helped launch.
