Established in 1982, The Roeper Booster Club was formed to address the specific need of providing visible support for our student athletes. From the initial goal of increasing attendance at sporting events, the club has grown to include:
- Sponsoring social and recognition events
- Fund raising
- Operating the Concessions Stand and Roughrider Spirit Clothing Shop
- Helping to improve sport-related facilities and equipment
- Participating in school service projects
- Working on strategic issues that impact the Roeper Athletic Program
All parents of athletes and friends of Athletics are members of the Club. Booster Club information is communicated and events organized, during the three annual Sports Kick-off Parent Meetings which are held at the beginning of each sports season (fall, winter, spring).
Parents can become directly involved by volunteering for event committees, working on the Executive Committee, and/or attending Booster Club sponsored events.
