ROEPER FORENSICS ACTING CAMP 2013 (Grades 4-9)

For summer 2013 our Forensics Acting Camp will not be held due to construction at our Birmingham campus. We will continue offering this camp during the summer of 2014, please check back next year for more information regarding this program. 

Just to clear up the most commonly asked question, this is an ACTING camp, not a crime scene investigation camp. At SPEAK OUT: FORENSICS ACTING CAMP students use plays, stories, poems, or their own writing to focus in on the details of performance and public speaking. Students can perform in a solo piece, with a partner, or in a group performance. Participants play with different techniques that address line interpretation, character development, stage fright, body language, improvisational theater, and finding ways to connect with their own emotions and with their audience through the words of their piece. Students will be working with some of the top forensics coaches in the state of Michigan! If you’re not familiar with forensics as a performance art and would like to know more, please contact our summer program office.

General Information

PROGRAM COST: $480 per session (due in full with registration)

LUNCH: Students must provide their own lunches. Refrigeration and vending machines are available.

OTHER FORMS: The necessary forms will be mailed to you with your confirmation letter. All forms must be completed and returned prior to the beginning of your child's session.
