Welcome to the alumni section of roeper.org! This is where, as the definition above would suggest, we welcome everyone and anyone who has been a part of our community in one way or another! You’ve come to our home on the web that’s designed to keep our entire alumni community engaged, up to date, involved, aware, informed, briefed, tuned in and connected. However you want to put it, you and every single person who wants to know what’s up will find it here! Soon, you’ll find the Alumni Newsletter here as well as interesting stories about our folks and what they’re doing. You’ll find updates about events, pictures that folks in our community want to share and anything else we, as a community, want to let everyone know about. It will be useful, interesting and fun! Bookmark it now if you haven’t already!!
As your new Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Fund, the first thing I’m going to do is ask you for a favor. Now, I know what you’re thinking “The nerve of this guy!” but stick with me on this… it’s a little risky to start out by asking for something, but it’s worth it! I would really appreciate it if you would take a few moments to read the letter I wrote for Keeping In Touch (a link to the letter is below). I’m asking this of you because the letter provides an overview of my priorities for the future and gives you a sense for where I’m headed and what I’ll be doing. It boils down to working as a team and as a community to keep our common connection with each other going strong. I invite you to provide feedback, to keep us all updated on what you’re doing, to share stories, to help bring people together and to participate in the strength of who we are at whatever level and to whatever extent you feel comfortable. So, please click this link that will take you to a digital version of my letter…
As I’ve said many times, coming back to Roeper is like coming home again and the warm welcome I’ve received has been wonderful! I look forward to working with you and for you! Let’s make it beneficial to everyone, let’s make it everything it can be and, most importantly, let’s make it fun!!
And now… bring it on!
