Roeper Summer Stock Theatre
Please note that the temporary location for the summer of 2013 will be at Seaholm High School.
Summer Stock Theatre Junior: Grades 1 – 3. With a focus on exploration in theatre, music and dance, this program provides ample structure with plenty of time for playing and exploring different aspects of performing on the stage.
Roeper Summer Stock Theatre Junior: Grades 4 - 6. Students will have fun each two-week session learning the basics of theatre specifically in the areas of character development, improvisation, movement, dance and music.
Roeper Summer Stock Theatre: Grades 6 -12. The four-week session provides a solid theatre basis for all students and challenges the more seasoned actor as well. Though students work towards the final performance, much of the instructional time is spent on developing specific skills in each discipline.
Each program will present a performance at the end of each session for family, friends and other members of the community.

Roeper Specialty Camps
Our Dance Camp will be held at our Bloomfield Hills location for the summer of 2013. It will be held in the Hill House Building in our Motor Skills Room.
For summer 2013 our Clay, Forensics and Science camps will not be held due to construction at our Birmingham campus. We will continue offering these camps during the summer of 2014, please check back next year for more information regarding these programs.
In addition to our well-known Day Camp and Summer Stock Theatre programs, Roeper offers specialty camps to meet specific interests of students that are smaller in size and shorter in duration. Each specialty camp allows campers to have fun and learn from Roeper teachers who are experts in their fields.
The Roeper Summer Science Camp has been created for students entering 6th through 8th grades. It is an opportunity for middle school students who love science to explore science concepts with hands-on activities in real-life situations.
The Roeper Summer Dance Camp is designed to engage students with a passion for dance, in a challenging and creative summer dance experience. Each one-week camp provides young dancers with a solid foundation in ballet and modern dance technique, combined with the opportunity to explore and refine their choreographic and interpretive dance skills.
The Roeper Clay Camp is a unique pottery program offering a total hands-on experience for students entering 3rd through 12th grade, as well as an adults only class. A wide variety of ceramic techniques are taught: shaping clay into pinch pots, designing and constructing slab projects, building unique coil vessels, clay decoration and glazing.
The Roeper Forensics Acting Camp students use plays, stories, poems, or their own writing to focus in on the details of performance and public speaking. Students may perform in a solo piece, with a partner, or in a group performance.
