The Roeper School will induct eight new members to the Roeper Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 6:30 pm. The ceremony will take place between the boys JV and Varsity Basketball games at The Roeper School Community Center located at 41190 Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield Hills. “The Hall of Fame was established to recognize outstanding athletic accomplishment and/or contribution,” comments Roeper Athletic Director, Ernie Righetti, of the 40 member group. “It’s an honored tradition.”

This year’s inductees include: Julie Camacci ’90 of Petaluma, CA; Scott Camacci ’87 of Royal Oak, MI; Grant Dumas ’88 of St. Petersburg, FL; Morgan Elliott ’95 of Royal Oak, MI; Liam Judd ’00 of Superior, CO; Rashad Fergerson ’95, and Libby Tannenbaum ’86 of Atlanta, GA.

Also being inducted is Russell L. Koppitz of Troy, local Volleyball Official and Assigner for the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) for the past 45 years.
