CONGRATULATIONS
  • Star Fall and Michael Nardone were selected to be part of the Regional Honors Choir in October 2007, the State Honors Choir in December 2007 and ultimately the All State Honors Choir in February 2008.
  • All five Roeper soloists who competed at the 2008 MSVMA Solo & Ensemble Festival received 1st division ratings.  These students are Jeanie Noto, Anna Nowinski, Adela Jaffe, Star Fall, and Amelia Hefferon.
  • The ensemble, "Women of Harmony," consisting of Anna Nowinski, Isabelle Stamler-Goody, Eleanor Gamalski, Lily Dickens, Taylor Hartley, Akilah Russell, Melissa Golden, Meme Resnick, Carloyn Resnick and Kristina Bock, received a 2nd division rating at the 2008 MSVMA Solo & Ensemble Festival.
  • Michael Voyt was selected to be part of the State Honors Choir in December 2007.
  • Falynn Koppy and Cesalee Morrow have been selected for the Michigan State Vocal Music Association (MSVMA) Middle School State Honors Choir.
  • Ari Hajek has been recognized as the top high school timpanist in Michigan.
  • Ari Teitel performed with professional jazz musicians and was featured in the Detroit News.
  • The Upper School has performed numerous challenging shows including Henry V, Hair, Into The Woods, Uncle Vanya, Romeo & Juliet, and Urinetown, The Musical .
  • Lower School performed Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance.
  • Mary Wilcox, Sam Wolson and Kevin Mersol-Barg from the Upper School and Catherine Spevak from the Middle School received awards from Student OUR TOWN for artwork.
  • Alumnus and actress, Dana Acheson, performed in "The Diary of Anne Frank" in Millburn, New Jersey and is preparing for the world premiere of "Lightning Rod" in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
  • Alumnus, Dwayne McDuffe, a story editor and producer for Cartoon Network's "Justice League Unlimited," earned a Writers Guild nomination, won 11 Parents' Choice Awards and six Best Editor Awards.
