SHOW: Disney's Beauty and the Beast JR

Description:  Based on the original Broadway production that ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, and the Academy Award-winning motion picture, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance.  Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. features some of the most popular songs ever written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

SHOW: Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka KIDS!

Description: The delicious adventures experienced by Charlie Bucket on his visit to Willy Wonka's mysterious chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder, in addition to a host of fun new songs, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka KIDS is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth.Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka KIDS follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory – or suffer the consequences

SHOW: Disney's Cinderella KIDS!

Description: The timeless, “rags to riches” fairy tale becomes a new audience favorite in Disney’s Cinderella KIDS, an adaptation of the treasured animated film that will charm its way into your heart and remind audiences that dreams really can come true. Poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and denied a chance to go to the royal ball. With a little help from her mice friends – and a lot of help from her Fairy Godmother – Cinderella’s dreams come true. She goes to the ball, meets the Prince and falls in love!

SESSION 3: JULY 23 - August 3, 9AM - 3PM   PERFORMANCE: august 2 AT 7:30PM

SHOW: Attack of the Killer Grasshoppers

Description: Mammoth, musical grasshoppers with impressive durability are threatening the world in this wild romp!  At the annual science fair, the displays are as wacky as can be:  wrinkle-free bacon, Hamburger Helper face cream and piranha fish now dedicated to a vegetarian diet!  The bitter Pamela, whose green potato project was not chosen as a winner, has declared revenge.  Meanwhile, on the isolated island of Malibula, something dreadful has happened at the ’Unusual Bug Research Center.’ The once congenial native grasshoppers have turned beastly, big and voracious and are now vaulting, pouncing and chomping!  What has this to do with the science fair?  The face cream has the grasshoppers as a chief ingredient.  Anyone who slaps on the goop becomes...  (gasp!!!)  it’s too terrible to describe!  Is there a match for Pamela and a flock of discourteous bugs?  Trapped students pin their hopes for rescue on Captain Cracknuckle, his SWAT team and a hilarious score that will have audiences rolling (or hopping!)  in the aisles.

By June 25 2018, all students must be between the ages of four and having just completed 8th grade to be enrolled in the Roeper Summer Stock Theatre.

Registration MUST BE COMPLETED ONLINE. No faxed, emailed, mailed or hand delivered applications will be accepted. 

Registration for Roeper Summer Stock Theatre Camp begins at NOON on February 3, 2018. Registration is not complete until the deposit per session per child is received by our camp office. All deposits are due within 14 days of registration. All payments must be made by cash or check payable to: Roeper Summer Programs.                 Credit cards are NOT accepted.

Confirmation of registration will be emailed once your deposit has been received. For all registrations submitted after May 1, 2018, full payment must be received within 14 days of registration to secure a campers placement.

All checks returned for insufficient funds will incur a $30 fee. 


Wait-list POLICY

If a session is full, you may add your child to the wait-list online. Families on the wait-list will be notified via email when a space becomes available and will have 72 hours to respond before the space is offered to the next family on the wait-list. Families will be contacted in the order that they register for the wait-list for a particular session. For openings that occur on March 28th in accordance with the cancellation policy stated below, families will be contacted beginning April 9, 2018.  It is not necessary to mail in a deposit if your child is on the wait-list. Payments are due after acknowledgement of your child's confirmed space. All cancellation policies apply to registered families, as well as to those on the wait-list who accept spaces.


All cancellation and refund requests need to be in writing or by email and received by  Roeper Summer Stock Theatre by March 28, 2018. Refunds of deposit are only provided before March 28, 2018.  Cancellation of enrollment should not be assumed until confirmed by the Roeper Summer Stock Theatre. Refunds of camp fees are not provided after March 28, 2018 for any reason, including, without limitation: absences, suspensions, dismissals, withdrawals, or dissatisfaction with placement or program. After March 28, 2018 no refunds will be issued, and all unpaid fees shall be due and payable in the amounts and at the times designated in the contract. All refunds will be processed within two weeks of notification.

For extended illness, refunds will be on a per-day basis beginning after the fourth day of absence. A signed letter from a physician is required for refund. Refunds of camp fees will not be provided for camp closures due to circumstance beyond the camp's control, such as severe weather and power outages.


The necessary camp forms, upon receipt of your deposit, will be emailed to you with your confirmation .

By law, children must have a physician-signed health form returned to Roeper prior to the start of camp. Health forms completed and signed by a physician within one year of the start of camp will be accepted.
